As a bride and groom you are perfect for each other and as a wedding DJ, I want to make sure that I am perfect for the two of you. Orange County and Los Angeles County has so many amazing venues for both your ceremony and wedding reception, and over the years I have provided wedding entertainment at most of them.
Whether you are looking for a traditional wedding ceremony or wedding reception when it comes to the music that is played or you are looking for a more contemporary approach to your wedding reception entertainment, my goal as your wedding dj and emcee is to provide you with a truly memorable day filled with memories that will last a lifetime.
Bill will go over all the details of the reception including when you want certain formalities done, songs you want played, and songs you don't want played. He will coordinate all of the events with the venue or caterer, photographer, videographer and any other wedding professionals that you have at your wedding reception.
Bill will offer solid well informed advice and guide you through the process of planning your wedding entertainment after gaining an understanding of your desires and expectations.
Bill will coordinate your wedding day schedule, designing a detailed itinerary for your wedding day in the manner and style you desire and ensuring that your every need and wish is carried out.
Bill will make sure that coordination between the vendors, will give you the peace of mind that everything will flow smoothly throughout the night. Bill's job is to be wedding entertainment director, not a button pushing human juke box.
Bill brings his preparedness, personality, poise and professionalism to each wedding, which has resulted in his immense popularity within the Southern California wedding DJ world. In fact Bill has dedicated his career to making sure one of the most important dates in a person's life (their wedding) is as happy, uplifting and memorable as possible.
It all started for Bill over 25 years ago. When his sister started planning her wedding, he approached her with a money-saving plan; “Let me DJ your wedding.” When she agreed, he borrowed turntables, a home stereo and a mixer and started practicing. “The wedding went well,” Bill says, “I realized that I could actually do well at this.”
He also realized that he loved working weddings. Although Bill worked the club scene early in his career, gigging at nightclubs in the 80’s and 90’s, he always went back to weddings. “I have a lot of respect for nightclub DJ’s,” Bill says, but weddings are where his heart has always been.
“What it came down to was that I liked mobile set-ups much better.” He chose to specialize in weddings, but stresses, “Specializing is a matter of personal preference and definitely not for everyone.” Weddings can be extremely challenging. Bill says, “There’s always something different,” but that makes the reward that much greater.
Personality and professionalism have guided Bill in his DJ business, which, for the last 5 years, he has been doing full-time. Bill understands that the success of a wedding has many contributing factors; however the DJ is responsible for the flow of the event, and he takes that responsibility very serious. “I definitely think one of the things that separate me is my unique ability to balance professionalism and personality,” Bill says.
To help him understand his clients’ goals and personalities, Bill has at least two meetings before the wedding with every bride and groom. By building this relationship, Bill says, “When I get to the wedding, I’m not a stranger or just some guy playing the music. That is important.” When he gets to know a bride and groom ahead of time, Bill can better gauge the proper tone for the wedding.
The meeting is practical in other ways, giving Bill and his clients a chance to type up a schedule. “Putting everything down on paper provides direction,” Bill explains. They also have the opportunity to clearly establish what they need and what they want—or what they don’t want, such as particular music selections.
